Myanmar Businesses Invited to Join 138th Canton Fair in China

The 138th Canton Fair, China’s premier import and export show, is set to take place at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou from October 15–November 4, 2025, and the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organisation issued an invitation to Myanmar business owners to participate in it.The fair will be held in three phases, with booth setup and dismantling between phases. Interested entities must provide a company registration, product and service summary of the company, official website, logo, trademark certificate, countries of origin and production documents in China or other external countries.

Booth fees range from RMB23,000 to RMB30,000 depending on space and setup. Discounts apply for larger booth bookings. Participants must cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Least Developed Countries (LDCs) are eligible for a limited number of free booths.

COVID-19 Update: 29 New Cases, No Deaths Reported

The Ministry of Health tested 2,199 samples from 8 pm on 15 June 2025 to 8 pm on 22 June 2025, and 29 new cases were detected.This resulted in a 1.32 percent positive rate and no additional casualties. Although there is now no reason to be concerned about COVID-19 infection or mortality, everyone should adhere to personal hygiene guidelines and identify high-risk individuals. • Individuals with diabetes, long-term respiratory conditions, and cancer; • The elderly (60 years of age and up); • Women who are pregnant, particularly those who are over the third month, are given priority for receiving COVID-19 booster doses.More detailed COVID-19 information can be found on the website of the Ministry of Health, moh.gov.mm
